EPIS's roots stretch back three decades, being one of the first Independent Marketing Organizations (IMO) in the country. Its experience in the ever-changing marketplace allowed its brand to be known across the country, as its competition have come and gone, EPIS has adapted with changing environments providing the Agent with 30 years of uninterrupted service all while being the leader in Product Services and Direct Mail Leads with its "VAR™" services.

EPIS started with a little known company The Old Line Life Insurance Company and soon became its leader in securing agent relationships, premium production and in force policy count. When Old Line Life became a member of the American General Life Companies family, EPIS was fortunate enough to maintain its great relationship with the management that it has today . By capitalizing on those relationships, EPIS has again broken the mold of traditional Independent Marketing Organizations representing multiple companies, but instead decided to focus on American General Life Companies product potfolio,

EPIS as an Independent Marketing Organization Focusing exclusively on  American General life Companies may seem unorthodox and risky at first glance, but after peeling back the layers of the onion, it allows us to focus on one product portfolio which brings to light our Motto "Doing one thing and one thing Great". While the competition is practicing the old cliché of "A jack of all trades and a master of none" EPIS is extremely focused on being a "Master of One".
